Trailer Magazine: Cutting Out Feature Picture

This is the picture I wanted to be on the front of my magazine.

I then had to cut out the background of my picture so that it would correctly fit in with my magazine background. To do this I had to select "Magic Eraser Tool". By doing this deleted all the background, leaving the picture roughly cut out.



















After the picture was roughly cut out, I zoomed in and rubbed out all the rigid edges, making it smoother and when zoomed out in looked a lot neater.

After going round the whole of my picture and making it smooth and even, I copied it onto my magazine. This was the end result.

Trailer Magazine: Background

I wasn't completely sure what I wanted to do with my background of my magazine, so I played around with a few images, and decided that this was the image I liked the most. I also liked the mis en scene of the colours in this picture, as I thought the girly pink linked with the contrast of the dark black, showed a happy and dark side, just as it does in my trailer reflecting on Grace's life. 

I then dragged the background out so that it would fit the back of my magazine. 

This was my end result.
